Sailing
The main purpose of Vasco's sailing was to search for the gold-rich kingdoms promised by Panquiaco. Vasco traveled to the new world in the 1500's. He settled on the island of Hispaniola. His travel route was the South Sea. After traveling more than 68 miles, Vasco named the bay where they ended up, "San Miguel." He traveled up to the Rio Balsas river, and had four ships built. He traveled 46 miles through the Pacific Ocean. Vasco named another new sea "Sea Mardel". He Traveled to Hispaniola in 1501.
